The latest film directed by Zoya Akhtar, “The Archies,” has drawn attention from Amul India, a well-known Indian dairy company, in addition to bringing acting debuts to Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Vedang Raina, and other young talents.
Amul’s Creative Homage
Amul India recently used “The Archies” in their newest graphic to demonstrate their artistic abilities. Funny enough, the artwork references Agastya Nanda’s part in the movie adaptation of the renowned Archie comics by depicting him as Archie Andrews, complete with guitar. The post’s headline, “Comic book story!” deftly links the worlds of comic books and Amul’s well-known culinary items.
The caption, “Amul khana padenga,” highlights the brand’s connection to food while lending a lighthearted touch to the illustration. The sweet shoutout is finished with the caption, “Amul Topical: Indian Hindi language teen musical comedy film releases!”
Zoya Akhtar’s Casting Insights
During an interview with Free Press Journal, Zoya Akhtar provided details about the “The Archies” casting process. Notably, Agastya Nanda joined the ensemble cast even though she was initially interested in something other than performing. Akhtar stated that Agastya, a businesswoman, eventually went to the audition for the position. There are seven people in the movie, each with a distinct storyline that adds to the group dynamic.
