Dubai International Chamber, one of the constituent chambers operating within the Dubai Chambers umbrella, has effectively orchestrated a dynamic B2B matchmaking event during the Wuxi – Dubai Economic & Trade Exchange Conference. This event served as a pivotal platform for exploring the burgeoning business and investment potentials at the intersection of Dubai and Wuxi City.
This collaborative initiative was cohesively organized in partnership with the Wuxi Municipal Government and Wuxi National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. The occasion welcomed a distinguished government delegation spearheaded by Mr. Du Xiaogang, Secretary of the Wuxi Municipal Committee of the Communist Party. Their visit to Dubai aimed to amplify and solidify the economic synergies between Dubai and Wuxi City, strategically positioned within the southern Jiangsu Province of East China.
A constellation of 13 esteemed Chinese multinational corporations, specializing across a diverse spectrum including advanced technology, biomedical and healthcare equipment, the Internet of Things (IoT), Information and Communications Technology (ICT), microelectronics, and renewable energy, partook in a remarkable 172 B2B meetings. These interactions were thoughtfully facilitated by the Dubai International Chamber, designed to cast a spotlight on Dubai’s alluring business ecosystem. This initiative extended crucial support to Dubai-based enterprises seeking expansion into the vast and dynamic Chinese market.
Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, the Dubai Chambers President, and CEO, underscored this collaboration’s significance. He remarked, “China has consistently held its position as the UAE’s paramount trading partner, and we are firmly committed to nurturing and amplifying these well-established trade and investment relationships, particularly within the country’s eastern region. This enables leading Chinese corporations to harness opportunities and flourish amidst the swiftly evolving global landscape. The dedicated teams at our international representative offices in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong are steadfastly engaged in attracting many innovative Chinese enterprises to Dubai, including those hailing from Wuxi.”
