As a part of the UAE’s Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications Office’s ‘AI SUMMER CAMP 5.0’, the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa) recently conducted a highly entertaining and educational workshop on entrepreneurship. The inspirational event, titled “Building Blocks of Entrepreneurship: A Workshop from Ideation to Implementation,” was conducted at the Sheraa headquarters in the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park and covered a variety of entrepreneurship-related themes.
The session provided 25 interested participants with an exclusive opportunity to learn about the various stages of the entrepreneurial journey, the skills and resources they need to succeed, and the potential of developing an AI business. The event was led by Sheraa’s team of experienced entrepreneurs and mentors. The 4-hour, jam-packed event, open to all aspiring business owners, highlighted the different ways Sheraa is dedicated to assisting businesses in taking advantage of this chance.
Participants in the event learned about important tools and ideas essential for entrepreneurs’ success. The ‘Business Blueprint Canvas’ was highlighted as a strategic planning tool, allowing attendees to envision and organise their business ideas and strategies.
The course also concentrated on developing an effective “Elevator Pitch,” teaching participants how to clearly and persuasively explain their ideas.
An interactive “Pitch This” workshop was held to further improve pitching abilities. Participants may practice and get input on their ideas during the event. ‘Journey Mapping’ was another significant subject discussed, focusing on identifying problems rather than offering quick fixes. Participants gained the information necessary to create solutions that cater to needs in the actual world by comprehending the customer journey and key points.
The CEO of Sheraa, Najla Al Midfa, commented on the workshop’s excellent reception by saying, “AI can alter industries, and we plan to support Sharjah’s ecosystem in setting the standard in this area. With the help of our cooperation with the UAE AI Camp, we gave participants the information and skills they needed to create and launch successful AI-powered enterprises.
