At Sharjah International Airport, Sharjah Taxi, a division of Osool Transport Solutions, has started testing its first electric taxis.
In the Emirate of Sharjah, testing its fleet of limousines is a trailblazing effort towards environmentally friendly transportation, with the long-term objective of achieving carbon-free public transit by 2050.
The Skywell electric vehicle is a secure and environmentally responsible means of transportation that helps lower harmful carbon emissions while still upholding the highest user security and comfort levels.
The experiment, which will start in early June 2023, intends to assess the car’s significant benefits and appropriateness for a luxury fleet while upholding international standards for comfort, safety, and security.
Osool Transport Solutions’ acting general manager Khaled Al Kindi says, “This vehicle aligns with our commitment to providing environmentally friendly transportation and reflects our dedication to sustainability and environmental preservation.”
Al Kindi underscored the company’s commitment to improving customers’ transportation experiences by putting their needs and wants first while maintaining the highest levels of comfort and safety.
Sharjah Taxi is aggressively increasing the number of electric charging stations throughout the emirate to accommodate different electric vehicles and provide consumers with compatibility and convenience. For the best results in terms of the economy and the environment, the corporation also intends to investigate new vehicle models.
