Emirates is enhancing its well-known track record for first-rate service with a dash of anonymity. The airline announced this week that its Phenom 100 aircraft will begin providing on-demand private jet service out of Dubai. (The airline, a longtime favorite of Travel + Leisure readers, took up the No. 2 slot in this week’s announcement of the 2023 World’s Best Awards for Best International Airline.)
From Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), the regional charter service will be accessible for quick turnaround flights within the United Arab Emirates and to Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. It comprises locations inside and outside the carrier’s regular network of commercial flights.
Naturally, the private aircraft service will continue to provide the high level of service for which Emirates is renowned. Customers will be transported to DWC airport by Emirates’ free chauffeur service while in Dubai. Passengers will be welcomed by a committed representative who will treat them like VIPs at every turn of the journey. Travelers will move through customs and immigration at the private terminals more quickly, thanks to the assisted arrival. Before boarding, customers will also have access to the private terminal lounges.
The svelte aircraft may accommodate up to four passengers depending on operational circumstances. Each passenger can check one carry-on and one medium-sized bag weighing up to 15 kilos (approximately 33 pounds). There will be snacks and drinks available on board.
“The services offer discerning travelers with busy schedules privacy and a high level of flexibility, with a hassle-free ground experience,” the business stated in a release shared with T+L.
