Dubai Municipality, under the guidance of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has announced the allocation of 3,200 land plots to Emirati citizens in Dubai. This initiative aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, to ensure the highest quality of life for its citizens.
The distribution of these residential plots reflects Dubai’s commitment to improving living standards for Emirati citizens. It is a part of the comprehensive citizen housing plans implemented by Dubai’s Higher Committee for Development and Citizens Affairs and a strategic step in line with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan. The Urban Master Plan aims to foster sustainable urban development, enhance the overall quality of life, and boost Dubai’s global competitiveness.
The allocated land plots will be fully serviced and equipped with essential amenities, entertainment facilities, and parks built according to the highest global standards. This comprehensive approach ensures that Emirati citizens have access to a well-rounded living environment catering to their needs and aspirations.
During its inaugural year, the committee has already approved the allocation of 11,500 land plots and disbursed housing loans worth Dh7 billion, benefitting approximately 7,000 individuals. These endeavours signify the government’s dedication to providing economic opportunities and fostering a thriving community for its citizens.
Through this proactive approach to urban development and citizen welfare, Dubai is reinforcing its position as a global leader and setting a precedent for enhancing the quality of life through thoughtful planning and strategic initiatives.
