Domino’s has revolutionized its pizza delivery system by employing a pilot equipped with a jet pack to deliver their piping hot delicacies. The company seized the opportunity at the Glastonbury festival and collaborated with Gravity Industries to showcase their groundbreaking pizza delivery via a jet-suit-wearing individual.
The inaugural flight of this unique delivery system took place from the Domino’s branch at Glastonbury to the music festival, where Elton John is scheduled to perform. Festival-goers who ordered Domino’s pizza were left astonished and expressed their desire to witness more pizza deliveries by jet-suit-wearing pilots at their residences.
Footage of this futuristic delivery man was shared on social media on Tuesday. The video depicted a Domino’s delivery personnel donning a suit, helmet, and customized jetpack, hovering above Glastonbury. After successfully delivering the pizzas, the individual secured his hands on the jet engine-powered arm mounts and departed.
The suit, developed in collaboration with Gravity Industries, is a high-value creation worth hundreds of thousands of pounds. Its purpose is to ensure the delivery of pizzas while maintaining their customary freshness and irresistible sizzle.
The director of this initiative explained that delivering pizzas to the festival location proved challenging due to traffic conditions. Consequently, they launched a rapid delivery trial to cater to the hungry campers by providing Domino’s pizza, taking a significant stride towards advancement.
