A cultural workshop on youth empowerment has been organized by the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) in Moroni, Comoros.
Several high-ranking Comorian and ALECSO representatives attended the opening. It was part of ALECSO’s Cultural Ambassadorship Programme, which involves programs to develop young talent in several Arab nations through cultural training.

In keeping with the ALECSO’s Ambassador for Arab Culture program, we are gathering for the third time today to launch a number of cultural and media initiatives at the regional level in the Arab world. We also take this opportunity to again express our gratitude to Sheikha Alyazia bint Nahyan Al Nahyan. In his virtual opening remarks before the workshop, Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director General of ALECSO, said that this honor “confirms the leading role of the United Arab Emirates and highlights its efforts to promote joint Arab cultural action and serving the causes of peace and sustainable development nationally, regionally, and internationally.”
“The series of events we are launching today in Comoros is within the context of the activities of the Arab regional community, and their primary goal is to introduce the organization and its activities within this country as a full member of the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization,” he continued.
