Adobe has announced that its library of AI models, Firefly, will be incorporated into Google’s AI language model Bard. This will increase the generative AI capabilities of Bard. Firefly, which is now participating in a public beta test, will become Bard’s primary partner in generative AI. It will specifically enable text-to-image functionalities.
Through this relationship, users of Bard can take advantage of Firefly’s ability to create, style, and improve their material by utilizing Adobe Express, a free visual design tool. This cooperation brings together Adobe’s experience in creative with Google’s powerful search engine.
The Firefly integration in Bard is anticipated to provide extensive text-to-image production and customization possibilities, quite similar to those offered by Microsoft’s Image Creator, which uses OpenAI’s DALL-E 2. Within Bard, users will have access to the extensive Adobe Express library, which contains a variety of templates, fonts, stock pictures, and other materials.
