SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE’s) first dedicated marine life theme park, opened on Yas Island, will open its doors to the general public on May 23rd, 2023. Here is a sneak peek at a few areas before the grand launch.
The park more than lives up to its billing; even on the drive to the parking lot, the massive scale of the attraction—it occupies 183,000 square meters of land and consists of five indoor levels—creates a great deal of attraction and sets the bar extremely high.
Two escalators await you just inside the main entrance’s sliding doors, where your aquatic adventure will begin in Abu Dhabi Ocean and the first of the eight kingdoms.
All the magic of Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates is here in one interactive experience. This might be the introductory course foreigners take in the emirate’s extensive marine heritage. There are dhows, mangroves, a souq, indigenous wildlife, a narrative on two of the many foreign sailors who stopped in Abu Dhabi, as well as theaters and live performances.
