Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi
A breathtaking firework show will mark the 51st UAE National Day on Al Maryah Island. A combination of green, black, white, and red fireworks will decorate the sky during the stunning event, which will take place at The Promenade on the evenings of December 2 and 3. Along its 5.4 kilometers of coastline, The Promenade offers stunning views of Abu Dhabi in addition to opulent cafes, bistros, and restaurants.
Bawabat Al Sharq Mall, Abu Dhabi
From 2pm to 10pm on December 4, celebrate the Spirit of the Union in a festive setting and make memories with your friends and family. There is a separate children’s area, a balloon twister booth, and a spot for face painting. Local henna vendors, carnival games (also appropriate for children), and an arts and crafts workshop are available to adults. On December 2, before the much-anticipated National Day fireworks display, the renowned Emirati band Al Mazyoud Al Harbiya will perform vivacious folkloric performances throughout the mall. At 9 o’clock in the evening, this breathtaking event will illuminate Abu Dhabi’s sky.
Sheikh Zayed Festival, Abu Dhabi
From December 1–3, a unique schedule of cultural and recreational activities will be held during the festival from 2pm–1am. The Al Wathba skies will be illuminated by drone performances; be prepared for a spectacular fireworks display, as well as Emirates Fountain and laser shows that feature stunning water and light creations that feature the colors of the UAE flag, as traditional Emirati music play in the background. In addition to the Global Civilization Parade, a traveling spectacle that includes performers from all over the world, the Festival’s pavilions will host numerous folkloric, cultural, and military performances and events. Visit the Emirates Civilization Pavilion to learn about the most significant Emirati crafts and arts and to experience the rich culture, traditions, and customs of the Emirati people. The Heritage Village takes a look back at the 51-year history of the UAE and its amazing landscapes, including its land, mountain, marine, and agricultural landscapes. Visitors are also made aware of the significance of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who served as the UAE’s founding father.
Global Village
A special orchestra made up of 33 brilliant musicians will perform a number of classic tunes on the main stage, including the UAE national anthem, for the enjoyment of the audience. A selection of well-known Emirati tunes will also be performed by a violinist and a harpist. A variety of cultural performances from the 27 pavilions represented at Global Village will also be showcased on the main stage. Global Village will be decorated in the UAE flag’s colors as part of the “Brighter Together” celebration of National Day, and Celebration Walk’s arches, main entrance gates, and the Carnaval will all be illuminated with a special National Day light show. Every night at 9 p.m., a magnificent fireworks display will also illuminate Dubai’s skies with the UAE flag’s colors. December 1 through 4.
Dubai Parks and Resorts
To celebrate the 51st UAE National Day, LEGOLAND Dubai is asking visitors to build the largest UAE LEGO Minifigure Flag ever in MINILAND. Kids can take part in the “Parkwide Scavenger Hunt” and discover some fascinating facts about the United Arab Emirates. At Factory Street, there will be daily character parades that are led by favorites wearing unique attire in UAE colors. The special limited-edition LEGO collector brick honoring the 51st spirit of the union should not be missed by visitors. till December 4. Between December 1 and 3, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., enjoy pop-up tents offering henna, delectable Luqaimat live cooking demonstrations, children’s face painting, and the opportunity to interact with the majestic falcon, the UAE’s national bird and a symbol of the country’s history. Ayyalah dancers will be lining the streets with a performance of a traditional children’s dance for Hag al Laila, one of the most well-known events in the UAE that honors the spirit of the community, for those who want to relax and take in a traditional display. You can anticipate live entertainment, international cuisine, and thrilling thrills at MOTIONGATE. December 1–4, 4 p.m.–10 p.m. On December 2 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., there will also be family-friendly fireworks displays at various venues.
Infinity des Lumiѐres
A fantastic deal is being offered by the digital museum to celebrate National Day: from November 30 to December 4, adults can purchase entrance tickets for Dh99, while children (under the age of 13) can do so for Dh49. The eternal creations of Gaudi, Kandinsky, and Klee are exhibited together as part of the current exhibition, “Raise Vibration.” The Dubai Mall’s Infinity des Lumières is open from Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and from Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Both online and in-person ticket sales are available.
Festival Plaza, Jebel Ali
The mall will hold a number of events that will highlight Emirati customs and culture. The whole family may enjoy free light fare and henna painting in the Emirati-style Majlis while the youngsters can participate in classes that include arts and crafts and DIY projects. Watch for the roving parade honoring UAE National Day in the nation’s colors in the evenings. At various points throughout the evenings, jugglers, stilt walkers, khaleeji dancers, and Ayyalah performers with percussion bands take the stage.
Emaar Malls
Four shows are offered at Dubai Mall on a rotating schedule, starting with a grand flag show to kick off the festivities. Watch the Ayyalah artists in action as they put on a compelling performance of the traditional Emirati dance, listen to the enchanting music as an Oud player wanders the vast mall, or experience the enticing singing of an authentic Arabic choir. Customers can enjoy additional family-friendly performances, including an appearance by friendly mascots, while watching the Flag Dance and Ayyalah performances at Dubai Hills Mall, Dubai Marina Mall, and The Springs Souk. Along with live calligraphy, all three malls will host workshops where women can make burqas. A chance to experience freshly brewed traditional coffee with a side of dates is exclusive to The Springs Souk.
Waterfront Market
Enjoy a variety of enjoyable activities at Waterfront Market with your family and friends. The Ayyalah traditional dancing, a wandering parade on the weekends, and a dedicated section with a full range of kid-friendly activities, from VR games to arts and crafts, can all be seen live in the main atrium. On the promenade next to the sparkling Deira Corniche waterway, there is also a traditional Emirati heritage village made up of various traditional areesh tents that will each offer activities that celebrate local culture, such as pottery making and fishnet weaving. The ideal setting for photographs will be a traditional majlis. Additionally, popular traditional Emirati dishes like Emirati Chicken Machboos will be the subject of live cooking demonstration sessions led by Executive Resident Chef Christos Lymperis. till December 4.
Fireworks at Al Seef, The Pointe, The Beach and Bluewaters
There are numerous opportunities to see some breathtaking fireworks displays on December 2. Visit Al Seef to take in the UAE’s vibrant sky and some of the local cuisine from the various market stalls and restaurants there. At nine o’clock in the evening, The Pointe will host a fireworks and fountain show, as well as a variety of kid-friendly events in the event plaza. Catch dazzling firework displays at 8 o’clock by The Beach, which is located opposite JBR, and Bluewaters. Fireworks in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain
On December 2, at 9 p.m., there will be a series of breathtaking 10-minute fireworks displays on the Corniche, at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain, and at Madinat Zayed in the Al Dhafra area.
National Day market at Mall of the Emirates
Zeman Awwal, the Emirati cultural center of the mall, now offers a brand-new indoor market. Visitors may look forward to discovering many artisanal products reflecting the legacy of the UAE, many of which feature designs from indigenous firms.
Heritage at Souq Al Mina
One of Abu Dhabi’s most famous landmarks, Souq Al Mina is situated in the center of Mina Zayed and serves as a reminder of the city’s past. A “Nostalgic Walkway” that has been specially created will honor historical art and culture. Throughout the National Day weekend, guests can take in Ayyalah dancing, Emirati singers performing folk songs, and a special appearance by the Emirati band Arqam trio. A petting zoo and other kid-friendly creative activities are available at the Souq. At the Maritime zone, take part in historical games. Along with these, there will also be displays of talli making, pearl opening, and weaving of fishnets and baskets. 4 pm to 11 pm.
